In the instrument roundabout, an entire school class learns about the world of music and instruments together. They make music together, try things out and rehearse. At the end of the course, the children present the results in a final performance.

Course management
Experienced music teachers with pedagogical training teach at the Academy of Music. The teachers organise the music lessons in a modern and varied way. We all love music and instrumental and vocal training is an obligation for us.

- Teacher training programme for grammar school music & French at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre, majoring in jazz/rock/pop singing, with a focus on voice training and choral conducting
- Active as a choirmaster since 2017, currently conducts several pop and jazz choirs with different age groups

What inspires me about music
I am particularly fascinated by the human voice - singing, beatboxing and the body as a resonance chamber. Music allows me to be in the moment, to feel energy and to pass it on. For me, it is expression, the joy of playing and a world full of diversity.

- I admire artists like Jacob Collier, Jamie Cullum, Theo Katzman and Bill Evans - they combine virtuosity, creativity and emotional depth in their own unique way.
What drives me as a music teacher
I love awakening creative processes in people and seeing them surpass themselves. It fulfils me to share ideas and inspiration, to learn from each other and to create musical moments together that connect and inspire.

When it comes to making music, I'm like Ludwig van Beethoven, who said: „Playing a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is unforgivable“. When teaching, I emphasise a choice of pieces that the pupils like and four-handed piano playing between pupil and teacher.
