The Academy of Music regularly works on operas with children. The main aim is to teach the children everything that goes into producing such a musical synthesis of the arts. So it's not just about making music, but also crafting, sewing, acting and dancing.
In co-operation with professional artists and musicians, the actors learn focus and teamwork, the ability to concentrate and self-motivation, overcoming setbacks and perseverance, self-confidence and mutual appreciation, stage presence and courage.
What is particularly important to us in such projects is the variety and diversity of the participants, as well as the collaboration between children, family members and various partners in the city. Because opera brings people together: the joint writing of a libretto, the collaborative design and creation of stage sets, props and costumes through to acting roles and the universal language of music. Opera offers all of this - regardless of age, origin and socialisation
