The double bass is the largest and lowest-pitched string instrument. Hardly any other musical instrument is as versatile. Double bassists are in demand musicians! The double bass plays an important role in every musical group and orchestra. Its range of application extends from folk music, through rock and pop music, rock ’n‘ roll and rockabilly, jazz and swing, to chamber orchestra and large orchestra. The double bass is the all-rounder of string instruments.
