The cello is a string instrument. With an enormous tonal range, the instrument not only offers a warm and rich sound, but also allows melodies in the highest register to shine audibly. It is precisely for this reason that the cello is very popular today, not only in classical music but also in pop and rock. As a cellist, you can play alone, as a duo, in a chamber music group, with an orchestra, or in a band.
