Children are musical from birth, which is why musical development cannot begin early enough. In addition to an instinctive understanding of music, the child's brain also develops other skills: Music is perceived as calming, rhythms are heard and motorised, singing strengthens self-confidence and self-awareness as well as the voice. With body percussion, singing together, playful improvisation or getting to know instruments - the first contact with music is fun, varied and also strengthens the sense of community and group spirit.

Course management
Experienced music teachers with pedagogical training teach at the Academy of Music. The teachers organise the music lessons in a modern and varied way. We all love music and instrumental and vocal training is an obligation for us.

What inspires me about music
Music accompanies us through every emotion. It opens up spaces for expression, reflection and introspection. Music brings me out of my head into my heart and into the flow. It moves me to dance and to feel my body. Music not only connects me more with myself, but also with others. Making music together, being in tune with each other and creating something together gives me deep joy and connection.
My favourite artist/band
There are so many great artists, but if I had to choose, it would be AURORA because she is so free and authentic.
What drives me as a music teacher
I am driven by the desire to accompany and support people of all ages in their individual abilities and challenges and to pass on my enthusiasm and joy for music and singing.

I am inspired by the diversity of music in different cultures and the fact that, despite the many musical styles, we can speak a common language.

What drives me as a music teacher
We can share our thoughts and feelings with the world around us when we make music. I want my learners to experience what it is like to express themselves in the form of music, to touch the listener and make them think.

- Coming from a classical background, my musical journey led me via jazz ensembles and musical theatre productions into pop music.
- Alongside my solo project „NORA BEISEL“ (story/indie pop), I tour Europe as a singer with the band „MUITO KABALLA“ (jazz, afrobeat, funk/fusion).
- Following my studies in Elementary Music Pedagogy with a specialisation in singing and songwriting in Cologne, I now accompany people of all ages on their individual musical journey.
What inspires me about music
Music is for me the language that we can all speak and understand, no matter who is standing in front of you.
